COLLAGE AND MIXED MEDIA
I began working with collage for a few reasons. I wanted to work abstractly and I wanted to work with color. Collage provided both and more. It accelerated the pace and scope of the work. It also opened a new pallet of contemporary imagery.

BIOGRAPHY I am a San Francisco based artist, working in the areas of painting, drawing, printmaking and collage. I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area most of my life. I grew up primarily in Southern California. I moved to Northern California in 1971 and to San Francisco in 1981. Finally, in 1990 I moved to the district of North Beach where I have lived and worked for the past twenty-three years. TWITTER |
